Founded in 1999 by a noted international film scholar / producer/ curator Alla Verlotsky, Seagull Films is a New York based programming / servicing company which specializes in international, independent, innovative and art cinema.

 Its goal is to bring quality international cinema to American audiences through innovative strategies. Over the years, the means by which Seagull Films has pursued this goal have changed in response to changing media technology and market conditions.

 Over the years, one of the ongoing commitments of the company remains its work in the filed of film preservation.

 Besides programming / distribution Seagull Films also services to independent filmmakers / producers, providing branding, worldwide festivals placement, delivering film content to worldwide TV and VOD platforms as well as creating strategies for marketing and distribution. With our international team, working closely with various annual international markets and festivals allows us to build global visibility and partnerships in different territories.
