Founded in 1999 by a noted international film scholar / producer/ curator Alla Verlotsky, Seagull Films is a New York based programming / servicing company which specializes in international, independent, innovative and art cinema.
Its goal is to bring quality international cinema to American audiences through innovative strategies. Over the years, the means by which Seagull Films has pursued this goal have changed in response to changing media technology and market conditions.
